Metallica in Singapore Once More

The American band that sang ‘Fuel’, ‘Fade to Black’ and ‘Seek and Destroy’, among others, will be returning to Singapore after 20 long years. This one-and-only heavy metal band from Los Angeles, California, will be performing at the Changi Exhibition Center on 24 August, a date that will surely awaken their supporters and avid listeners not only in the country but also abroad.

This band composed of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, and Kirk Hammett, last performed in 1993 at the Singapore Indoor Stadium. This year, the trio will be joined by bassist, Robert Trujillo, on their first-ever concert to take place in Changi Exhibition Center. The crowd can expect the most popular American heavy metal band to unleash their thunderous music—again.

According to a certain press release, LAMC Productions, the organizers of this upcoming concert, decided to hold the concert in Changi Exhibition Center for the reason that there is no other available venue large enough for such a band. Metallica has become one of the most influential and successful heavy metal bands of all time, ever since it was formed in 1981.

This one-of-a-kind band has had countless sold-out tours around the globe on top of selling over 100 million records, making them a Grammy Awards winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer. Right now, the band is working on their tenth album and has a film set to appear later this year.
